VINCENZO CACI It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved father and grandfather on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the age of 78 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Assunta; sons, Sam (Darlene), John (Rose), Luigi (Anita); his grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Vincenzo, Bianca, Isabella, and Lilly; brother Giuseppe (Katherine); nephews, Salvatore and Franco; nieces, Susie and Maria; brother Raimondo from Belgium; sisters, Carmella and Anna from Sicily, Italy. Dad was born in Aragona, Sicily (Italy) on March 18, 1927. He immigrated to Canada on May 15, 1965 with his wife and two sons. Dad will always put his family first. He was a very simple man who had a passion for gardening and always enjoyed family gatherings. The boys will always remember playing Briscola, Scopa or Stoppa and always have the patience to teach the family how to play Scopa so that we could all be included. He always loved being around people. The family would love to give a special thanks to the staff in Palliative Care, St. Boniface Hospital for their care and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Viewing will be held from 9:30 till 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in Holy Angel Mausoleum.
